What happened to NOCTURNAL MOONCALF? It was scheduled to drop in Feb, a month before Dapper but that plan seems to have been tossed to the wind :P Dapper has been moved up and folks will be seeing the
Nocturnal and Dapper
Guys! Don't forget about the drop of HUMPHREY MOONCALF VERDEGRIS tomorrow 18th Jan 11.59pm Singapre Time. I put up these pictures for probably ten minutes last week before Jake requested for them to be taken down. But seeing now that most of the other toy blogs already has it up, I suppose this must be safe to be up :) Nocturnal and Dapper Mooncalf people! I'm really liking these two colourways over the Verdegris but for collectors, the first drop is probably a milestone worth collecting. :P Who's getting Mooncalf tomorrow? Just remember to camp out at POBBER ONLINE STORE!
News is out! HUMPHREY MOONCALF VERDEGRIS VERSION is set to drop exclusively via POBBER ONLINE STORE 18th Jan and at USD$89.99, the 8" vinyl is definitely a steal! Jake has also let loose news of two more versions of Humphrey Mooncalf that will be released shortly after the Verdegris version - Nocturnal Mooncalf (run of 150) and Dapper Mooncalf (run of 250) in Feb and Mar 2011! These are not exclusive launches and retailers can drop Jake an email at email@example.com for wholesale information.
And finally, as a teaser of what is to come from this Singapore-based toy company, let me quote the email:
Humphrey Mooncalf is the first in the series of Clumsy Monsters by Pobber. The series focus on 'clumsy' characters as imagined and created by artists. We are now in discussions with another awesome artist for our third figure.
Edited 10th Jan: Found pictures of Nocturnal and Dapper! But no reveals for now. :P
DOK A has collaborated with Pobber Toys to release his latest Mechtorians Humphrey Mooncalf. The spanking new 8" vinyl is also the second member of Pobber Toys' Clumsy Monster range. It comes with an articulated neck joint and key.
Humphrey Mooncalf had a reoccurring problem with his Travithick No. 4 Nano-clockwork brain.
Repeated trips to the watch-smith proved a great success.
The pain held at bay by loosening his cranial rivets.
This however means that he can no longer look up.
Such a shame, as he does so love the moon.
Poor Humphrey will never be able to peer at the moon without his clockwork brain tumbling out. Well, so will my brains whenever I look upon Humphrey. Pobber is a Singapore-based company?! Like when and how! Why aren't they in STGCC?! This is THE BEST I CAN FIND on the company. Jake Lee, I'm going to hunt you down!
