If you missed out on LA PETITE MU MU AT TTF 2011, Fion Ko will be releasing a 2012 Replica Edition. All 150 pieces of Mu Mu comes on a wood platform engraved with her name and the spanky certificate of authenticity. Suiting your mood for the day, you can interchange the button on her rain coat - pink, green and yellow.
To be sold at TTF 2012, Fion has stated on the LA PETITE MU MU FACEBOOK PAGE that she would announce in July good news for international peeps :)
The white colourway brings out the rainbow rain
Fion Ko's LA PETITE MU MU is showing up the second time at TTF! The first release was a very small run, disappointing plenty of new-found fans at the toy fair. This time round, How2work is producing a run of 60, but only 30 of which will be sold on-site. The remaining 30? I'm certainly hoping they will be made available online! I've been hoping to get one since January this year when I first blogged about it! For those who has the Blue (the first!) colourway, I'm certain you ain't sitting this out, the perfect companion for your La Petite Mu Mu - another Mu Mu!
On display at TTF will be a 1:1 La Petite Mu Mu!
La Petite Mu Mu
Just came across the charming creation of Fion Ko - Mu Mu, a precocious girl with a smile that hangs quietly on her face as the rainbow rain falls around her. Mu Mu was brought to life by HOW2WORKTOYS last year and she had already attended her first toy con - Taipei Toy Festival - in July with the same quiet sort of success you would expect from such an imperturbable girl.
You can still catch her if you hurry down to KAPOK; Fion is holding an exhibition A BEAUTIFUL MESS which ends this Sat 8th Jan, featuring her drawings, ceramic pieces and most importantly Mu Mu.
And because of the general lateness of this post, the exclusive line of Mu Mu which were sold at the event has already been sold out! The only consolation I can offer is the beautiful picture after the jump :P
